Working on Jade's bag, I really like this booga bag pattern. I'm nervous it is going to felt too small though to be the bag size I wanted, but as long as it can be used as a purse, I'm happy. I may only end up using one skein so may make one for myself if i have enough yarn:-p.
Started Jack Skellington cuz I need to hurry up and mail it to TN. such a boring project tho...tg I am only ever going to make this one. lol.
I found this rather gorgeous wrap thing on ravelry that uses entrelac known as Lady Eleanor something or other, I can't remember the full name, but I'm debating whether that will be a project as I am not sure i would ever wear it but it's so pretty!
I also found a blanket known as the bliss blanket which i may end up making a baby version for a friend of john's who is having a baby and may adapt the pattern to make it into a throw...I just gotta figure out what kind of yarn to use. The pattern calls for a rather expensive type of wool and I just cant bring myself to buy wool for a blanket, especially a baby blanket. I was thinking about doing acrylic baby soft yarn, or maybe cotton yarn, but I worry about the warmth.
In a life update, I have one final and then three days of work until I get to go to Maine for 2 weeks straight! yay! Did well on my finals so far so won't be failing out of school:-). Plans for vaca include knitting lots, christmas fun! and wedding stuff - including bridesmaid dress shopping! wish me/the girls some luck!

updatey-goodness!
So...finished a set of dishcloths off the holiday gift list, and still have the elephante done. Trying to finish another set of dishcloths and a hand towel as well as jack skellington for kate's nick so I can mail out that and elephante ASAP to get to TN by xmas. Also got a booga bag to start and making bears for john's mum and grandma. Still have alot to do! As well as a week and a half of school left:(. oh yeah! and I decided to frog my sweater and make a sesame sweater instead cuz size two needles are the bane of my existence:-D. yay for after xmas when I can start that!
on the bright side, then I'm off for a month and a half!

Yay!
So Jen got me to start a blog about my knitting and crocheting madness as I am way too busy to actually catch up with her it feels like, and its always fun to talk about my projects with someone, anyone who actually cares! lol. So working on like a million projects right now, I got about 6 bears to make for xmas which is coming way fast for comfort when I'm overwhelmed with school. Nursing school is so ridiculous I can't even tell you! As much as I love the idea of having my master's, I doubt it will happen in this lifetime after the experiences of nursing school. Plus having 100,000+ dollars in debt sooooo doesn't give me great incentive to continue on. Anyways, I suppose I have to graduate first and this was definitely supposed to be about my knitting and crochet fun-ness which I have been doing despite the overall overtaking of all my time for work and school.
Right now I have started a entrelac dishcloth for john's grandmother...the kinda picky one, and I'm nervous she is going to be like wtf. this is flawed cuz she just seems like that a bit. I love entrelac and so far its not going too badly.
Also need to make a second lacy round dishcloth (pattern by Rhonda White) for my grandmother whom I totally made a set of dishclothes for before I "learned how to knit" lol. So these will at least be an improvement if not perfect still. The round-ness escaped me somehow.
So other things for xmas include:

- pillow for john
- jack skellington for kate's nick
- bears for people...lots of bears that are definitely not going to be the 13 inches tall the pattern calls for!
- bag for john's sis with entrelac cuz i love it, and totally wanna make myself one!
also must finish socks at some point, but those are a hibernating project cuz I'm totally lost! anyways thats the whole story of knitting and crochet for now! hope to have some stuff done asap!
